Are the Silo™ Jug 40 oz and 1/2 Gallon leakproof?

Yes, both the MagDock™ Chug Cap and MagSlider™ Straw Cap are leakproof when closed.

Will the YETI® Silo™ Jug keep ice as long as the YETI® Rambler® Jug?

In short, no. The Silo™ Jug is built with lightweight, BPA‑free plastic and foam insulation, which is slightly less thermally efficient than the stainless steel vacuum insulated construction of the Rambler® Jug. It’ll keep drinks cold for hours, but it won’t hold ice for as long as the Rambler® Jug.

Are the Silo™ Jug 40 oz and 1/2 Gallon dishwasher safe?

Yes, all Silo™ Jugs and components are dishwasher safe. 

What size does the Silo™ Jug come in?

40oz and ½ Gallon (or 64oz).

Can I use the Silo™ Jug 40 oz and 1/2 Gallon for hot and cold drinks?

Silo™ Jugs are not intended for use with hot beverages. Use with cold or room temperature drinks only. 

Can I use the Silo™ Jug 40 oz and 1/2 Gallon for perishable drinks, carbonated drinks, or dairy?

No, do not use the Silo™ Jugs with carbonated beverages or as storage for food or perishables, like dairy.

Which lid is the default for the Silo™ Jug 40 oz and 1/2 Gallon?

The 40oz comes standard with the MagSlider™ Straw Cap. The ½ Gallon is offered with either the MagSlider™ Straw Cap and MagDock™ Chug Cap. Both Caps are compatible with both Jug sizes. 

Are the Silo™ Jug 40 oz and 1/2 Gallon lids sold separately so I can get both kinds?

Yes, both size Jugs are available for purchase separately.

Are the Silo™ Jug 40 oz and 1/2 Gallon MagDock compatible with the Rambler MagDock Cap?

The MagDock™ Cap component is compatible with the Rambler® Jug Cap and the Rambler® Bottle MagDock™ Cap.

Will I be able to customize the Silo™ Jug 40 oz and 1/2 Gallon?

Yes, similar to our Yonder® Bottles, customization will be available for the Silo™ Jugs.

Is there a warranty on the Silo™ Jug 40 oz and 1/2 Gallon?
